What it means
The request is well formed, but the record's current state does not allow it: a value is already in use, or the change is not allowed from the state the record is in. detail says what, and invalid_params names the field when one is the cause.
What to do
Read detail, and invalid_params if present. Fix the cause, or read the record again and decide from its current state. A retry with no change gets the same result, unless detail says to retry.
